Fairly authentic Chinese restaurant. They serve regular Chinese American Chinese food, plus a separate menu with authentic Chinese cuisine items. The food is well prepared and flavorful, similar to other Chinese restaurants. The authentic dishes are so much better though. So be sure to ask for them. I especially liked the fried dough and the special dumpling. But be warned that their spicy dishes do not cater to the weak of heart. They are very spicy and true to the original recipes. They also have several Taiwanese appetizers that were great. If you are daring, try the fried intestine. Very good dish. A little aftertaste, but that's what it's supposed to be like...

I love the Saturday & Sunday dim su at Mary Chung's. I've been all over (NYC, San Fransisco, Chinatown, etc.) and Mary Chung's is The Best Dim Sum. First time? Try these dishes: Peking Ravioli steamed, Small Steamer Buns (delicate pork dumplings), Taiwan Style Rice Noodles with Pork & Vegetables, Grandma's Pie, Dun Dun Noodles with chicken (very spicy).

Friendly staff, food was good and they accommodated a large group and were very patient while we figured out what to order. Dishes were not too spicy and decent portion size so you order a few dishes to share. Facility is clean but maybe a bit too dark for my taste.

Been going here for 25 years. Best pan-fried ravioli and scallion pancakes in the Boston area. Dim sum on Sunday is wonderful. Don't miss the Shan La Chow Show soup. Very friendly staff.

An institution. You just need to go. Great food. Peking Raviolis (dumplings) and dipping sauce made in house. Dun Dun noodles, moo shi - delicious. No phantom 'brown' sauces. Friendly staff, great prices. And of course, Mary herself, who is ageless.
