I dove 1.5 hours to look at 2 trucks... the first one I looked at wasn't even road safe! I got up to 55mph and slammed on brakes to test them and the pedal went straight to the floor! I told Paul (our salesman) and all I got was a "oh I'll have one of our mechanics take a look if youd like". The second I drove was nice inside and out, above and below and drove great. The issue was the price on the truck for sale and my truck for trade in... the truck they were selling me was listed just below NADA Guidelines but what NADA said my truck worth on trade for "fair" condition and my truck was in great condition the sales man even said so they offered me $9000 less than it said and would not go up on trade price or down on their truck price. If are willing to pay to pay what sticker says and trust them go ahead... or do as I suggest don't waste hours of your life and STAY AWAY!

Mike was amazing!!  After a few days of emails and a few phone calls (I am over 200 miles away from the dealer) Mike and I had some great numbers to work with and I was able to get to the location, test drive, sign, and leave in a little over an hour.  Mike was able to get me a great price on the new truck and I could not be happier.  Thank you Mike Buhler and Lenz Truck Center!!

Locals are educated enough to stay away from Lenz, which is why they thrive on out-of-towners for their business. I've dealt with them on numerous occasions and I wouldn't even trust them for a second when it comes to buying a vehicle. Not once, not twice, but three times they have called me about a vehicle I'm selling on Craigslist, then they make some ridiculous claim like "Oh we will give you more than NADA, Edmunds, Kbb, etc....". They do this JUST to get you in the door and then they'll make you such a ridiculous offer on your vehicle that it will leave you laughing. 

They do have an impressive inventory, but it's full of vehicles priced significantly higher than a fair valuation ...and then they will refuse to negotiate. 

For example: When I was browsing for Tacomas they had several of them priced higher than a certified Tacoma DIRECTLY from a Toyota dealership....with the SAME trim, miles, options, etc.

Just stay away from here, there are MUCH more reputable dealers to trust $30-$60k to.

Zach provided me the truck buying experience that everyone dreams of. He spent more time getting to know me and why I wanted a new truck rather than simply trying to fit me into something. It was like hanging out with an old buddy. Zach was able to answer all of my questions - even down to the product code on the transmission. His style and the way he handled things just made everything so easy. On the finance side, working with Dave was just as easy. He was able to quickly set up everything exactly how I wanted it. Again, this is what a truck or car buying experience should be.

We initially discovered Lenz through online searching, and quickly realized that their truck pricing was significantly lower than any other dealership on vehicles with clean carfax reports. We decided to make the 18 hour drive for deals we couldn't refuse. Upon arrival to the dealership we looked at the truck outside (independently) for approximately 20-25 minutes without being harassed by a salesperson, before we made the (again, independent) choice to enter the doors of the dealership. We were shocked to discover a very unique experience from any other car buying experience either of us have had. There was no sales pressure, and no games. We were offered and educated on prices and the clear cut reasons why, we were asked realistically if we wanted this vehicle given certain expectations, and we were treated with the utmost respect from the minute we sat in Mike's office, to the minute we drove off the lot. It was stress free, laid back, and painless......as a car buying experience should be. The icing on the cake was every single person that happened to be standing outside when we drove off waved goodbye to us, including people who we hadn't directly seen in the sales process. This dealership has a "small town" feel, and we were thoroughly impressed. In searching for complaints it was difficult to find any, however, it would be nice if the tank was filled, the DEF was filled, and if someone would walk through the electronics such as Bluetooth pairing. We will be recommending this dealership to our friends and family in Nebraska, and will personally shop here again with Mike. Thanks for everything!!
