Many years ago, the Philadelphia art establishment circled the wagons around the great art collector Albert Barnes, and French Impressionism. Today, they're circling the same wagons around a collector arguing for the recognition of Philadelphia School, Philadelphia's first ever avant-garde, and its leader, Leonard Nelson (1912-1993).
