Tioga Gallery opened in Bryn Mawr in August 2013, and is committed to showcasing diverse and pioneering work by the region's most important artists.
The inaugural exhibition at Tioga Gallery is the exhibition of works from the collection of Charles A. Evers. The collection includes over 500 works by more than 150 Philadelphia Area artists, as well as folk art objects collected by Charles Evers during his many travels.
Some of art objects are unattributed, and we welcome the public's help in identifying the artists. Please take a look at the "unidentified artist" categories in the "Artist" Section in each grouping by medium. We appreciate any help in identifying the artists (or our errors in attribution) and will revise the website to reflect additional information as it is compiled.
All of the works of art in the Evers Collection are cataloged in this website. Inquiries related to specific works can either be submitted using the "My Collection" feature of this website or by contacting the gallery directly.
In addition to featuring The Evers Collection, in coming months, the gallery will showcase the work of some of the region's most important contemporary artists. This fall, we will be presenting works by Joe Barrett, Tom Brady, Jon Eckel and Adam Farrell.
