The owner takes the time to curate each dish, modeled after his mother.  The love really comes through, especially in this one appetizer, the ginger calamari, it’s nothing like you’ve ever tried before, and it is definitely a must order !  I also enjoyed rigatoni vodka, it was creamy and delicious just the way I like it with a piece of toasted bread on the side! They also have a variety of pizza.  This place Or a romantic date night, definitely sit by the window!

Super Friendly staff who took their time, food was prepared very fast for how busy they were on Mother’s Day . Came out delicious and great temperature ready to eat. Excited to try the pizza which seemed to get a lot of orders.

My parents came into town to visit, so naturally, I had to take them to Leone’s. To start we shared some calamari, warm olives, and pasta fagioli soup. The calamari had awesome flavor and was so fresh. The pasta fagioli is the best I’ve had in Montclair this far and I have tried A LOT of places pasta fagioli, and the warm olives were a nice range of sweet and savory. We also shared 2, 12 inch pies, the sausage with arugula and the sweet onion with balsamic, both were so delicious! The crust is thin but holds up so well with the toppings. Soggy pizza is not a thing here! I will definitely be back here this weekend, this place is awesome! I cannot recommend it enough!

The vodka pasta without peas and with Italian bacon was amazing : so creamy . My friend got the bolognese pasta  but she liked mine more! The parm sandwich was a 7/10:Food: 4/5

Credit our visit to Jackie Johnson and the Sidewalk Swing. I heard her beautiful voice as I approached and I had to stop. The food was fantastic and Jackie’s voice was so soothing. I’d definitely visit again. Food: 5/5

Pasta was okay. Ordered the rigatoni vodka, the peas over powered it. Service was slow but employee were friendly and quick to cater towards my dietary restrictions.

Last couple times my family and I ate here they have had a live street band. Band was awesome, shout out to owner who I just met for the first after going back many times to eat because the food is excellent. He is a true gentleman, Thank you will continue to take my family here. My waitress definitely could have been better she kept forgetting things but will not judge the restaurant, fantastic place.

Leone's is one of the best Italian restaurants in town. Their pizza is delicious and the crust is very crisp. The service is excellent and I was able to be seated right away. I would definitely recommend that you stop by.Food: 5/5

Just finished dinning at this special place. Number 1:get use to the owner and staff welcoming you as if you had been there 100 times . It was my first visit. Number 2: get use to feeling as if you are the only party in the house. Number 3: get use to owner and staff actually paying attention to you, and accommodating you at the same time.  I know this seems far fetched in the current tradition of restaurant staffs acting as if you're bothering them for simply asking where the bathroom is, but I'll convince you. Number 4: get use to having food prepared with finesse and care. From the bread and dipping sauce, appetizers, entrees, and desserts, no detail was overlooked. Number 5: get use to feeling at ease about the time you spend there, for it seemed as if our table was simply for our party and the staff encouraged our conversations, even though we had finished desert and hour ago. Leone's is not just a place to eat...it is a destination, and even though it's an hour and half away, I believe it has become our go to place for the experience of dinning out. More than worth the travel time. A special note to the owner. I've met many owners of restaurants, but this is truly the first time I've felt so welcomed. And Terry, you are an exceptional asset to Leone's. Leone's is the answer to the mediocre fare so many of us have become all too familiar with. Thank you, and I hope to see you all again soon. Friendliest staff ever! Ordered a pizza and a ravioli dish. The ravioli took longer than usual to come out so they didn't charge me and were super apologetic about it. It was much appreciated and I'd come back just because of how friendly and accomodating they were.  Will say though, the food was a bit rushed but still good! Social distancing pretty much non-existent but they are cleaning down the tables and wearing masks
