Beautiful venue. Perfect for date night, client meetings or wine with the gals. The service is always superb and their rotating menu always offers impeccable cuisine. YOU MUST TRY THE ICE CREAM. It is made in house and seriously incredible. They have a back patio with a fireplace, large chess set and breath-taking view of downtown JC/Manhattan. Go here.

I can appreciate premium prices for excellent food and service, but I am very disappointed in the Liberty house. Our server was pleasant, the scenery was picturesque, and the food was mostly great. I'll briefly summarize where our experience was sub-par. Our experience lasted over 2 hours, and we bagged both our dinner and dessert. We ran out of water and were not checked on for roughly 30 minutes. Once we asked for water, it took another 10 minutes or so to actually get it (and it took an additional reminder). I can understand delays if they are understaffed, but the staff was regularly walking by - even those who were designated for refilling waters. Lastly, my steak was not even nearly cooked the way I asked. I'm sure they would have fixed it, but once again, it took 2 hours to get our meals in the first place. I'm not returning. Edit- the wait staff upgraded their tip on my card.

We had a night out without the kids during this vacation and the restaurant did not disappoint excellent food choices and libations. Great decor. Excellent staff. Very enjoyable!

The view from here is amazing. Was here during the winter so I didn't get to enjoy the outside seating but would love to try it out and enjoy a cigar (on the menu) one night. This place is great for seafood, but expect NYC prices across the board.
