Here for my god daughter's sweet sixteen. Everything is exceptional from the service to the the food. Not to mention the breathtaking views of NYC. All around great place. Usually banquet food and service suck at most places. But this place went above and beyond. Highly recommend for any event you plan on having.

As always the best service, best view and wonderful food!! I was there on my birthday and at least 20 of my friends came along to enjoy a Beautiful night on the Hudson!! The owners are exceptional and always stop by to check on the experience I’m having.... can’t say enough great things about The Waterside Restaurant and Catering!! Thank you so much👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

ASSAULTED and then ROBBED due to the security guards' actions. My boyfriend and I were physically assaulted, but the guards that were working inside on 8/18/17 at around 1am, threw us out, keeping the woman that ATTACKED US inside with my belongings. Because we were automatically kicked outside by the guards and not given the chance to obtain our belongings, the woman went through my purse and robbed me. *****Apparently the guards did not care she attacked someone and let her go because if they were keeping her and the others she was with in their sight (like we were watched), they would have seen her go in my purse, walk outside to the water, and throw my belongings in the water, like witnesses had said.***** Police report was filed. The security needs more training... Why would you leave the person that attacked someone inside your establishment, but kick the victims out? Why would you monitor the victims, but not the person that attacked someone? It doesn't make sense. The woman was seen talking to the guards before the event and she came up to us saying she would get us "kicked out" so I wouldn't be surprised if this was her using her "connections." The cameras for "safety" are useless. Would never step foot even near this place, it's such a disgrace that a place like this would allow this to happen and NOT DO ANYTHING about the assault and especially the theft that occurred because of their staff, that should have been seen on their cameras.

It is large and has a good view of the city. I was there for a birthday party and the service was great. The food was very enjoyable as well. The atmosphere was great around dinner, but as the evening went on it got a little weird. By 11 when the party ended and my group was leaving it felt like a club of for rich old men who didn't want to grow up and were holding too tightly to their glory days. Most of the people there were so cliche it was almost comical to look around. I didn't see any potential for real, meaningful conversation in the whole place, but I saw lots of people that seemed more that eager to convince everyone around them that they are cool and relevant. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed dinner and the view, but when it started to feel like a club they were trying way too hard for a certain atmosphere and I think they missed the mark.

Assaulted and Robbed. On 08/18/17. Police report made with North Bergen Police Department. Went for dinner and got assaulted and robbed. The door says we are recording for your safety but security did the opposite. I would not stop until place is shut down or justice is served. These were known people to the place. So security and police turn the other away. With cameras as proof and 15 witnesses that came forward. Owner please check your email.
