Liberty Title in Grand Blanc is my team's preferred Title Company! They are always fast to respond to our questions and prepare documents quickly. They recently managed to rush a land contract from date of contract to the closing table in one week, with having to order out of county title! Their customer service is absolutely spectacular and we recommend using them to all of our clients. Communication is direct and knowledgeable, and I am always relieved to be using Liberty and not another Title Company because I know our clients are getting the best service and the best rates.

I closed on a property today. It was a FSBO and was a split closing, the buyer being in Ohio. As I got started, I questioned the closing cost breakdown. The first charge was the prorated property taxes. OK. The fourth entry was for the full amount of the taxes. I kept saying I was being charged twice for the same taxes. Finally the title company said I was right, but in order to correct it the closing had to be postponed and returned to the underwriter. Concerned that I might nix the whole deal, I signed the papers. THIS WAS WRONG!
