I absolutely adore this store. Whether you're new to the language and just learning or you're looking for the latest Descartes textbook, Librairie du Soleil has you covered.

I also really love that the staff is so supportive of people even trying to speak French. While they are bilingual, they give individuals trying their best to communicate in French a chance, and help them as best as they can.

Overall, this bookstore is very inclusive and the staff are wonderful. I'd visit it again in a heartbeat.

Best French language bookstore downtown. For those learning French, they have a large collection of bilingual classic novels, so you read the English and then the same thing in French.
