Absolutely an excellent experience! The food was spectacular! My friends and I loved the food and already thinking about going back ! Service was excellent as we were taken care of as if we were the only ones there! The water view was stunning! Imagine sitting outside in the patio in the summer time! Will definitely go back n recommend to all my friends and coworkers!

Great place for a good meal and great views. Definitely trendy and somewhat upscale given its location. The menu is a bit challenging if you are vegan unfortunately, and it is surprising given that animal food/plant based food choices are one of the biggest trends of 2017.

Went last week for dine out, besides the little lamb preappetizer, and dessert, this place really isn’t worth $40. The place was only 30% full and between each course a solid 20 minutes passed. Entree was not fantastic for the price. Service was very slow - maybe their regular menu tastes better?

Great Location. Nice outdoor patio during the summer. If you’re driving the underground parkade at Bayshore (underneath the park at the mouth of the street which leads to Lift, about one block south) is some of the least expensive parking downtown. They also have valet parking where they’ll park it in the same parkade and retrieve it for you, for a fee.

Unfortunately the management is quite poor. I've had very good and very bad experiences here, so The Lift is not a place to hold consistent expectations. The food is good, but not memorable. Redeeming factors are the patio and amazing view of the ocean, specifically good for sunny summer days.
