 Very good communication skills - not only called ahead to tell me they were on the way but also took the time to explain everything to me in detail.  Work was done faster than initially thought and for the agreed on price.  Definitely would use them again.

I scheduled service with Lightning Bug Electric because it had gotten very good reviews and I was not disappointed. We had an issue with our basement, where the lights flickered every time we turned on our overhead fan. Bobby and Nick came out to take a look at it and discovered that the main room hadn't been wired right. They took a lot of time doing their best to find the problem and when it became obvious that it wasn't going to be an easy fix, they brought me down and pointed out all of the issues they had found while going through trying to find the disconnect. It seems that the previous owners, who had finished the basement, had done it either themselves or without the aid of a licensed and knowledgeable electrician, and had done a poor job of it. While Bobby and Nick were showing me all the problems, I never once felt condescended to or like I was being talked down to.

We agreed to a partial rewiring and set up a time and date. I was fully expecting to have to patch multiple holes in the walls and the ceiling when all was said and done. Steven and Nick came back and managed to rewire the section of basement that needed to be fixed without making a single extra hole in the walls or ceiling. That alone is worth the business. They made a conscious effort to cause as little damage as possible, even though I'm sure it made the job more difficult for them. 

As they were leaving, Nick went back down to turn off the lights and realized there was an issue with one of the switches and went back down to fix it, after I'd paid and was ready to send them on their way. They were professional and courteous through every interaction, and I am already planning to have them back out to do more work for me in the near future.

Our electric dryer outlet was shorting out one night, we are lucky we did not have a house fire. We called Lightning Bug Electric first thing the next morning and a technician was at our home around noon.  Our technician, Henry, quickly diagnosed the issue, a loose connection inside the outlet was the culprit.  Henry installed a new outlet and plug on the dryer. In addition, Henry installed some new track lighting in our home office that we had previously purchased. Our technician was courtesy, and knowledgeable answering all our questions. We are well pleased with all the work and highly recommend Lightning Bug Electric.

Tim was a great estimator and made sure to explain all of my options in layman's terms. Service was scheduled and performed quickly. Nick and Jonathan did an awesome job and were very respectful and tidy. I'd definitely give LBE a call again if I needed more electrical work. Thanks!

Jeremy just finished doing some electrical work for my bathroom remodel. The work is excellent, and it was done quickly and efficiently. Jeremy is professional and very personable! Price was very fair for the work that was done. I would highly recommend Jeremy and Lightning Bug Electric to anyone in need of an electrician.
