This is where some of my grandchildren go to school . The best things is, during school hours, all doors except the front door by the office are locked at all times. This makes sure the children are safe. You have to check in at the office before you can go any farther into the school. The children love the school and they have a great after school program.

In 2009 my son started his first day of school at Lincoln Elementary, I had called the school and asked how do I go about enrolling him in due to us moving to Layton. The secretary was in fact helpful to me as soon as she had seen me in person for the first time I then was treated very poorly. This school and their staff are very bias and Judgmental and snobby if you are any sort of a prepossessing - meaning an attractive parent they will then treat you differently. They will threaten to call the state on you, And go about saying that in a very unprofessional way. They will talk about you and your business amongst each other which is of course against the law in the book of the working field, and work environment. They will favor someone of their own religious background and grouping. My sons and I did very well with going about our business and when we had the chance to get them out of that school we took that chance and now we are very happy with the school we have chosen for them. They no longer need to feel the pressure of worrying of them trying to hurt us in any sort of way. I can tell you this just be careful with this staff. The only teacher there was miss Lee she is a resource teacher she was very caring and genuinely helping her students succeed. Both of my sons attended till 2015. Also when you do have your children attending this school if do they have perfect attendance they won't say congratulations or offer any kind of a certificate but when you are again someone who stands out of the crowd nice car good looking clothes or a great personality they will treat you in a way that you don't exist as soon as you have a year where there is maybe perhaps some relocating you and the family and they instantly assume the worst and become again judging and in our case hostile they will try to get your kids taken by the Christmas box you can google that but never once try and help you like you think a community like Layton city should. Also if your child has a different way of learning they have a very poor way of allocating resources and teacher focus. Rather then helping they would sooner let your child fall behind. And again when you do have a child who is preforming well if you are an attractive parent or someone outside their grouping they will still pass judgment and neglect and turn against you.

This school is the most unprofessional, and disrespectful to there students they dont care about the well being of the child, my niece is 6 years old and they want a behavior exam on her?? Why for being a child she is in kindergarten of course she is not going to pay 100% of her attention to the teacher. As well as they let there staff put there hands on children and dont do anything about it,if you have another choice in schools for your kid please don't go here.
