Parking can be a struggle, but once you're inside you feel better about being there. Free admission, other items for you pay for. During the Christmas holiday, they have lights everywhere. It's so beautiful. The summertime is great too. Catching the animals out in their habitat is awesome. The pedal dove boats are so sweet. The grounds are quit clean and they have public bathrooms.

Free zoo! Need I say more??? It was an easy walk from nearby landmarks. Lincoln Park Zoo was a lot of fun and a great way to spend the early afternoon. It wasn't too busy, and the exhibits were really good! It's a good sized zoo with a lot of great animals. Everyone here is super helpful and knowledgeable

I had a great day at the Lincoln Park Zoo, it was very easy to get there by bus, we had enough time to see everything. It was easy to walk around the park, following the trail, we saw all the animals, the description panels were informative and fun to read. Best part was the polar bear! I suggest you to bring your own lunch, there were benches and empty spaces for you to have your own picnic but not a lot of restaurants.

One can loose track of time in this place, especially with children with one. My favorite attraction was the bird house, where there are no cages and one can actually see the birds not behind a cage. Overall it's a great place to visit and have a picnic. The adult only events at night are a great date night.

What a great zoo. It's much more expansive than I ever remembered as a child. Took my wife and young boys there, and we all had a blast! It's so cool to be in downtown Chicago and feel like you are in a meadow. Very well put together.
