Once in a lifetime experience. Only complaint is the price jump to do the tour ($20 to $150). The difference is the trainer there feeding the lions treats which brings them right up to the fence where they would otherwise just chill or sleep over in the corner. You would not get to see them that close paying regular admission. They stand on their back feet to eat the meat through the fence. She fed them often as we walked around the habitat, so we got to see it a lot and were in complete awe of their size and grandeur. The knowledge she shares is also a cool perk. We added the feeding to the tour and it was definitely worth it IMO. When else do you get the chance to feed a lion?!? I will say I was disappointed that I didn't get to feed it directly through the fence. I saw the pictures of the trainer doing it and thought it was a regular person so I got all excited thinking that's what I would be doing. It's probably not too safe for us patrons, but hey I signed a waiver didn't I? They put up a plastic piece over the fence with a tube you push the food through (horse meat). This guy was growling and roaring because he felt threatened, wanting to make it clear it was his food. It was crazy! The giraffe feeding is also worth it. I got to touch his chin while I fed him biscuits and lettuce. He was amazing. I guess it comes down to supply and demand. They know they can charge those prices because nowhere else offers the same kind of experience. I believe she said there were 36 lions living there. Some are retired from the MGM and some were rescued when the zoo shut down. They have bred them over the years, so there are many different families :). It's a few minutes south of Vegas and a must see.

Great place to go to see some lions in the desert! The staff here are knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell they really do care for the animals here and have a bond with them. The animals look very well maintained and do not look remotely starved. They even have a giraffe Ozzie that is still growing! Pay $10 cash or $20 on card to hand feed him as well!

Went to the Lion Habitat Ranch in Las Vegas yesterday and it was an incredible experience. You can get really close to the lions and the other animals. A lot closer than going to a zoo. The size of the male and female lions is impressive and they are beautiful animals to see up close. When the trainers would give the lions food it was cool to see how aggressive the lions became and to see their raw strength and power is a must see. The staff was very nice and the trainers were really knowledgeable about all the animals and how they got to the Lion Ranch. If you are coming to Vegas I would highly recommend seeing the Lion Habitat Ranch.

What a wonderful experience for all ages. I love that the animals are so well taken care of and the public can enjoy an upclose and personal experience with the animals. My 4yr old granddaughter enjoyed feeding Ozzie the giraffe the most and I was thrilled to hear the roar of the lions. They were magnificent and regal! The staff is very friendly, caring and knowledgeable.

This place is great !! Loved how up close and personal you can get with the lions and lioness. The giraffe feeding is $10 per person. Twenty to get in for locals. Twenty five otherwise. Not an extremely huge place which is nice. All animals are well taken care of. Great for photography. Vute little shop at end where you can buy paintings a giraffe made . Affordable items in shop which all proceeds go towards animal care. Amazing
