Fun family place. Water levels back to normal from spring lows. Various water depths from suitable for infants to too deep to stand, well delineated. Containers not permitted in spring area, scan get dehydrated after a while. Shaded picnic and grilling area available. Play area, changing rooms, camping area, and kayak launching available. Extremely inexpensive, went on weekend, total cost eight dollars for three. Great fun at a great price. Get there early as cagey busy.

Will never ever visit here again. Park workers are extremely rude and ignorant to providing an informative, positive experience to guests. First time visitor to Lithia Springs and traveled very far to get here. I had been looking forward to a visit here for sometime, since I've been to several springs across the state every summer over my life time and always had great experiences. This was a spontaneous visit after an extremely hot and humid day at an outdoor event. It was 5pm and the park was listed as closing at 7pm. A shower was over us, but would pass within 10-15minutes as any Floridian knows is expected. Arrived at the gate pay station and the park worker says "just in time for the thunderstorm!" then asks if we are here for the park, swim, etc. We tell him specifically to swim, he proceeds to collect $6 for the 2 of us in a single car. We get to the swimming area, dip our toes in, thunder hits in the distance and the lifeguard blows the whistle to get out. Not a problem, it was 5:15pm, we knew the park closed at 7:00pm so we go back to the car to wait for the shower to pass then enjoy the rest of the sunset. Its 5:30pm and I notice lifeguards parked next to us getting in their car. I ask "is the swimming area closed?" they respond "Yes. Normally it closes at 6pm, but since there was thunder we had to close early". WELL, 1.We were never told the swimming area closed at 6pm when we specifically told the gate worker we were there to swim. 2. The part that's really blowing my mind - gate worker specifically noticed the weather but failed to tell us that the swimming area closes at 6pm and would close even earlier than 6pm if there was thunder. We would have never entered the park had we been informed of this. 3. Upon exiting we requested a refund from another park worker and noted that we had only been in the park a few minutes and did not get to swim. The park worker said we "should have known" and refused a refund. I thought it would be the park worker's job to make sure their visitors are informed of the rules, but apparently not. The worst Florida park experience I have ever had in 30 years as a native.

Great place. Sea through water (Clearer than Clearwater). Nice bathrooms cheap parking nice trails and grills and even fishing. Perfect something for everyone. The swimming area looks small in Pictures but in real life its huge and you can swim up to the river and its so through so its safe. A waterfall to. Right in the Tampa area....BEAT THAT Orlando!!!! The conseession stand is a good price and extremely generous with the proportions.

Nice swimming area with surprisingly cool water. The food stand is alright, but it'd better if you could take it into the park. I totally get trying to keep your park clean but is it too much to ask to be able to get out and have a sandwich without walking a quarter of a mile out of the swimming area? Otherwise, great park! Very pretty, refreshing water.

We liked this campground. Getting to dump station can be a choir due to the one way loop. Nice shaded sites. We'll stay here again
