When? - Sunday afternoon Interior design - great use of color, on the walls are beautiful oil paintings of everyday life in Cuba, conga drums hanging from the ceiling. Atmosphere - dead, boring, no Cuban music being played, the only thing you could hear was some annoying diner who tried to entertain his guests with his pretentious humor and condescending tone. Cleanliness - A straw wrapper was on the floor, in plain sight as it was right in the pathway to the door, yet two employees walked past it many times during the length of my visit, (actually, it was there when I came in the door), yet neither server bothered to clean it up. Staff - Two servers (a man and a woman), and an unknown number of kitchen personnel. Absent manager. Service - Neither server greeted me when I entered, I stood there for a reasonable amount of time before I sat myself. There were only a few tables with a couple of customers including mine, but both servers seemed overwhelmed. I almost left because it took some time for anyone to come to take my order. The male server was polite and smiled. The female server didn't smile, but was polite as well. I received my appetizer quickly, and before my main course. My main course was served in a pot covered with a lid, but that was totally deceiving because my main course was served to me just below room temperature. Neither server returned to check on me, so I just ate it that way. Food - It was homemade style and delicious. I recommend the Tostones. The yellow rice and black beans were delicious, also. I recommend this restaurant. The food is great. Just be sure to call them on any issues with your meal. Return Visit? - Absolutely!

I lived in Miami my first forty years and ate a lot of Cuban food. This was my second time eating here. I ordered a Cuban sandwich , my wife ordered a vegetable plate. The sandwich and veggie plate looked great. The roast pork was not well seasoned. The veggie plate was very good. Two hours later a got feverish and sweaty. I went to my apartment and proceeded to get very very sick and weak. This was June 23,2017. I don't think that l will come back. Use your judgement if you want to eat here.

Food quality and service are always great! Flavors are lacking though. I still go back and just pump some hot sauce on it!

Nice little Cuban restaurant. Brought a few coworkers here for lunch and I think everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was good and decent prices.

The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. It's hard to make great black beans, but this place does it.
