This place is so good. The food is exceptional. The staff is friendly, fast, and very accommodating. And the manager is great, I can't remember her name, but she is the best.

Because their gumbo is the best we've found locally, these guys will continue to be successful. I'm sure we're not the only ones with this opinion. At minimum, all the tables around us that night felt the same way. It starts at the top - the GM(?) wearing all black never took responsibility for the horrible service and extremely slow and ill timed food deliveries. She blamed it on sitting tables too fast, and that her waitress didn't tell us. But when I, and the table next to me, have to get up to get answers, it's on you. There was no apology or credit on our bill, despite the fact she was the one to bring it to us. I saw her wipe down tables and then pack new silverware into napkins holding the serving ends. I'm sure that happens often, but I saw it here. No one ever checked in on us, despite the fact we needed drink refills, a knife, and the rest of our food. No one made eye contact or cleared plates. The explanation that the gumbo orders were so high that it took so long makes no sense - it's what they do, it was a normal Saturday night, and there's NO way it should take that long between orders. Even at the start, the hostess didn't acknowledge us for several minutes, just so she could write down our names and get back to sitting tables, she had to sit the tables first. The GM was by her side dictating what to do, and then later on explained all the tables being sat at once was the problem. Hm! The lack of customer service is quite remarkable, and I believe it comes from the top, as the GM, aka the victim, never prioritized it.

The food and service are terrific. Went here on whim while in town and loved it. Huge bowl of gumbo that I could not finish - will order the "Little Daddy" next time. It was delicious and if I am town for longer than a day - I will definitely be going back!

Would be 5 stars of excellent if they only had coke products. Nothing worse than hearing "is Pepsi okay".... Hell no, never okay.

Absolutely excellent food! As well, the staff was great and they also had some great beers there too! We will definitely be back every time we're down that way.
