Talk about delicious and worth it! My egg drop soup was so good and the sesame chicken!! Yummm! Service was very good as well. Very nice place and to s of seating. Came for lunch
Went here on a date night on a Saturday last minute with my husband while in town on vacation. Beautiful patio and a wonderful energy! We got a few apps; the spring rolls and steamed bbq pork buns. The spring roles were amazing and a great balance of pork and vegetables; we are picky with our spring rolls and we loved these! The yellow sauce they come with was great, a nice spice and unique flavor. The bbq pork buns were not as good. I love pork buns but these were quite doughy and didn't have much filling. I would not get these again and wouldn't recommend them. The sushi was fresh! I got the spicy crispy tuna roll and it was average, good but not anything out of the ordinary. My husbands sesame chicken was great; I was surprised at the large portion side and the flavor was amazing. The veggies were fresh and completed the meal. I don't think I'd try this place again as it was pretty average for slightly above average prices. But I will say the setting and feel of the restaurant was immaculate and the servers were great and friendly. I'm glad we went but like I said, would try another place before returning : Parking: Some parking on street and nearby parking ramps
Beautiful atmosphere with delicious sushi and crafted cocktails. The location is great as well - walkable part of Cherry Creek. The spicy tuna was my favorite.
It was an honor to have been on top of the world eating and enjoying my afternoon at this beautiful place. Sean, the waiter was very genuine and very professional but made me feel welcomed. Appreciated the hospitality and classic meal which im sharing pictures of my stay. Wonderful everything about this place. Prices were decent but I really didn't care because of the treatment and satisfaction I enjoyed. Thank You Lil Ollie's.
I think the restaurant overall was okay. I do not recommend getting the miso cod due to the value. My friend thought I ordered an appetizer because the portion was so small. It could not have been more than 3oz. It came with two small shishito peppers and one cherry tomato. Thank goodness I ordered a side of steamed veggies. Which just to note, the “steamed” veggies came with no seasoning AT ALL and were borderline raw. The Chinese donuts were excellent and didn’t take as long as I thought they were going to take since the waiter mentioned they may be awhile. The fizz drink was good.
Neat place with nice vibes. Food was delicious. Wait was in my opinion unnecessary long. Started with the Strawberry Salmon Rolls and for entrees we had Lobster Dumplings and the Seared Salmon Sashimi. Prices were ok. It is obviously elevated but I feel like portion expectations were inconsistent when comparing prices and ingredients. As for service it was ok. Had to wait a bit to get seated and once there our appetizer took more than half an hour. The waiter gave us an excuse and said the wait for our entree was going to be much shorter and it wasn't. So, food was pricy but delicious and service was ok.
Met a friend for dinner here, after we both decided we were craving sushi. We had the rainbow roll, spider roll, and the spicy dragon roll. All were done well. I personally liked the spicy dragon the best. I wish I'd remembered to take pictures in advance, because it was beautiful. While pure sushi places will win on creativity and might just edge out this place on quality, they definitely won't beat the bar selection. It's been a few years since ice eaten here, buy this visit reminded me that I need to come back again soon. Oh, the misters on the patio also made it very pleasant, despite the heat.
This place is amazing. My kid got the kobe beef burger and an amazing roll. I had steamed pork buns and Peking duck. Everything was so on point, presentation was gorgeous, and my Moscow mule was delightful, service was great! There is parking in the alley but not a lot of spots back there on a busy night. Pricey but not ridiculous. Would recommend again and again.
They have changed the menu. They removed my favorite roll anywhere. This used to be our spot. We loved it & went at least once a month. We raved about it to everyone. Last night was horrific. The roll was mushy, the soup dumplings dry and cold and the egg rolls were so greasy, they were dripping oil. We literally took one bite of everything & left the rest. We were both grossed out. The service was terrific or I would have given it one star. Beyond disappointed and will not return.
Went here last night for the first time, always uncertain trying a new place, but it delivered and we had an amazing meal. Every bite was phenomenal. Kale salad, spring rolls, hot pepper appetizer, curry chicken, and for dessert their take on donuts/beignets with a glaze hot and fresh and delicious. Would come back again and try other things as well.
