Little Thicket is a "Little Bit of Country," just outside the city. We are one of the last true "campgrounds" in the area, with lots of trees, gentle breezes and a peaceful atmosphere. Our park is the closest RV Park to the Texas City Refineries.

We were very disappointed with the conditions of this park. The bathrooms were not clean (not even toilet tissue in the women's) the entire time we stayed. We only stayed because of the location to relatives. The pool had a board floating in it and water was disgusting. We could not open awning because of trees not trimmed. Told manager about bathroom conditions but still nothing was cleaned. I would not even rate this as a 1 star.

I move around a lot since I'm a pipeliner and i have never met nicer people than David and Rebeca. They were always very helpful in everything. I stayed for almost a year in 2014 and my job has recently moved me back close by and I am staying here again. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

If you're working and need to leave, they will not refund your money. Even if you pay for a month and leave a few days later. Absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER be back here again. Also I let my dog off his leash 2 feet at the most from camper for him to potty, and got yelled at saying he needed to be on a leash. Get real. He wasn't hurting anyone.

I had the worst experience with David and Rebecca. David is a power tripping fool. He has a huge ego and if anyone questions his authority he will cancel your contract and throw you out. Rebecca will not do anything to help, she is controlled by her husband. I don't know why the owners would keep these people on as management but David has a major god complex. I reserved a lot from this couple and they let someone else take it. I paid money for it but they cancelled my contract. They said the other guy was in a desperate situation, which means they do business according to the saddest story. My family and I were depending on the lot and they didn't care. I pleaded with both of them, even my wife did but they only have a bleeding heart for some people. Stay away!!! There are other RV parks that are nicer and cheaper, dodge this bullet because the owners of the lot don't even care how David and Rebecca are conducting their business.

Location, Location, Location!!!! This RV park is nestled between the Beaches of Galveston and the City of Houston. Closer are shopping centers with a wide variety of shopping and fine dining. There are also an abundant of other amenities such as car care, hair and nail, RV repair, medical/ dental care, health clubs, churches and banking. My must have's are Walmart and Starbucks...well there are plentiful. I love my daily walks on the Beach with my pooch which is 10 mins from the RV park. Little Thicket is a must visit! RV park review to follow. David and Rebecca's Little Thicket is managed both professional and personally. They are available during business hours and beyond. They know your name and interact with you as a person and not a lot number. I recently had the Shingles and they sent me texts and emails for a week ensuring I was ok. David and Rebecca also anticipates your needs and have contacts in the community to assist you (car repair, etc). My experience with the other RV'ers have been so wonderful. There's a relaxed atmosphere here and I attribute that to David and Rebecca's management. The park is spotless and safe! Yard maintenance is done daily, and the facilities are cleaned daily. This park is PET FRIENDLY which is a must for me. The park also has mail boxes for you and will accept your Fed Ex, UPS etc packages during normal business hours. The pool is small but clean. You will enjoy your time here. Pricing is competitive. I am enjoying my stay!!
