Nice rv park but things have gotten worse since last few stays over the past year! Parking is a joke. Parking by the laundry room is no longer available. Due to rv sales units blocking it off. (All they are worried about is their rv sales) So hauling laundry is very difficult!! Also there's not enough room for construction hands that have big trucks. That's who fills up the park and makes them money! FYI can't park on the grass even if it's one tire. They need to extend the edges of the parking. Or add parking in the grass areas on the first row or the ends of each row. Our coworker was told to park their vehicles in the lot across from the park during business hours. Must get out before they lock the gate at 4:45 (can be very muddy over there) then move to very front of office at night. Then move it again when they open. This is very tedious and can be a far walk if you live anywhere in the back ends or back side of the park. Simple fix extend your lots. Wifi doesn't exist even though it's supposed to be an aminity included with the rent. They say come into the office. But some people get off late and the office is closed. When wifi did work only front half of the park could get service. I have to use my personal hotspot$$$. Don't bother asking for a discount for the wifi. You will get a no! They have a rule about how old a rv you can have in the park. Can't be over 10 years old. But drive around the park and they have severely run down ones parked there. Some with tarps on the roofs. $20 to wash a vehicle per time! Doesn't cost that much! I could see $5-7 being reasonable but 20. Never cost me that much to wash 2 trucks, boat and 2 atvs. Weekly in a month at home. Can't have my non barking dog out on a line even when someone is home. That's not in the rules! Security lighting in the park doesn't exist! Not very safe for anyone to go shower or do laundry if you have to walk in the dark. Yes office is light up but not the park. Vehicles broken into and stuff stolen in the park and across the street. The security light at the park entrance has never worked. Which poses a safety hazard for vehicles pulling in. Be very careful not to have your rv fall off on the right side of that driveway. Especially if you come in after dark. (It has happened several times) also needs a warning sign to make wide turn. Since management changed not ownership this park has gone down. They say they are working on things but more then half a year and no wifi. Love the old staff especially the current front desk girl. And the service guys always wave and say hi when in the park. Hope things get better.

I originally chose Ron Hoover Oasis RV Park for the long-term site price, proximity to my job on Galveston Island, and the long-term tenant-friendly atmosphere. Service was fair to good from Aug 2015 to Oct 2016. Cable has never worked and repeated requests for service have not corrected the problem, but I don't watch that much tv anyway so it has not been an issue. Since November 2016, the long-term tenant-friendly atmosphere.has changed significantly under new management. New management seems more focused on unit sales and attracting short-term tenants. Internet service has changed and access speeds are now slower than old late 1980s 19.2K baud dial-up (most websites never load) which makes the internet pretty much useless. The community center is now only open during Ron Hoover RV Sales Office operating hours. After normal working hours new management locks the center and only allows access to the laundry and showers. New management has also parked so many sale units on Oasis RV Park access roads that even getting to the community center laundry is extremely difficult. All-in-all, changes since changing management seem focused only on sales and short-term tenants and have been detrimental to park access, long-term tenant customer service, and over all previous long-term tenant friendly atmosphere.

Nicely landscaped ,great level cement sites&roads & good hookups. Just stayed overnight so didn’t get to enjoy to much...only downer was to many new &due to repair units cluttered around front office &sites!! Takes away from the ambiance of the park!
