I loved my experience at Living Treasures! It was amazing to get so close to the different animals, and capture amazing pictures. The animals seemed, to all appearances, well taken care of and happy. You can buy food approved for the animals at check-in, or around the park are food dispensers, appropriate to the animals near them, which take quarters (bring quarters, as the animals like the dispenser food, and will come visit more readily). Great value for the money. Will definitely go back!

Not the quietest place to stay. The rooms were very nice and clean, but very little sound proofing. We could hear the guests walking around above and could even hear the water being run in their tub! AC unit was also quite loud. When it came on, it would startle me and wake me up. And then you have them animal sounds ALL NIGHT. I expected some noises but the lions roared until 3am! Wasn't the best nights sleep to say the least. So, if you are a light sleeper (like me) this may not be the best choice.

Took my wife here for our anniversary and we both enjoyed getting to see all the different animals. We were both pleasantly surprised that you can interact with all of the animals in some way. The cost of the carrots and the petting zoo food is cheap and a must have. Definitely a place to come back and visit.

This a great animal park. You can feed almost all of the animals here. The food for some is in dispensers that take quarters so make sure to bring some. Other food is available in the gift shop when you enter. At time of visit it costs 4.50 a bag. We took about 3 hours to explore the entire park. All employees we encountered were knowledgeable about things and very nice. Clean bathrooms.

I stopped by this little animal park on my way through the state to see the sloths. I got so excited when I looked them up at our lunch stop because they're my favorite animal. I made my friend agree to stop. When I got to the park I was a little underwhelmed and fairly disappointed. The sloths had a room that was smaller than my own bedroom. Hardly enough space for them and not enough places to climb. It was a hot day so I understood why most of the animals were sleeping. But many enclosures seemed too small for their housed animals and there was a lot of nasty stagnant water in the enclosures that offered little relief from the 80+ degree weather. I wanted to just hop in those enclosures and drain their ponds and fill them with fresh water. Maybe I'm spoiled by the city zoos I frequented as a child in St. Louis and Chicago or by the vast open area for their sloths at the national aquarium in Baltimore... But this place seemed far too small to house animals like the bears, lions, and tigers. Even the birds seemed to be pacing and in poor condition. The animals had little room to run around and some didn't even seem to have fresh, clean water available. It broke my heart! For a place to go and get educated on animals it's okay. The staff seemed friendly but a little stand offish and price wasn't too bad to me. $15 seemed fair for the amount of animals we got to see. But they need to work on making the habitats more suitable for their animals, especially in the heat and with so many baby animals there!
