About

Livingston Restaurant + Bar is a restaurant located within The Georgian Terrace Hotel

Story

Livingston Restaurant + Bar, in Midtown Atlanta, inhabits one of the city's few historic buildings. Inspired by the architecture's good bones, we've made an inviting modern space without obscuring its original glamour. Midtown has always been the part of town where Atlanta revels - and Livingston carries on the tradition. It's a place where Atlantans come to be social, to eat and drink and celebrate.

Enjoy cocktails, conversation and cutting edge cuisine. Meet early at Livingston Bar for cocktails and a light supper or settle in at the restaurant for a four-course evening. We look forward to making your life just a little more pleasurable.

We stayed at the Georgian Terrace Hotel and dined at the Livingston before the theater. The food and staff were outstanding. I had the fried chicken and my husband the delmonico steak. Wow what a taste bud treat! Jamie was so good about my husband's allergies to gluten and eggs and especially welcoming and had us out in time for the Fox theater. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The food and drinks were delicious. They served us pretty quickly too, and were understanding that we had to make it to a show after. I also loved sitting upstairs and having a view of the Fox. Overall, great experience.

The food and service were superb. Started with Arugula salad then creole Scallops finished with the Apple crumb tart. Bar and wine menus are lacking in splendor and should be revised by the management.

The hotel in which this restaurant hides is amazingly beautiful. The restaurant itself is as gorgeous. The food here is sooo good; however, pretty pricey for the dishes. The Salmon appetizer on the BBQ chips is really good, but too much mesquite powder. I felt like I was inhaling it with every bite. The cream cheese and capers was a nice touch on a flavorful blend. The creole scallop carbonara was sooo delicious and the grits twist was exceptional. A bit disappointing to only receive for scallops in the dish. The low country seafood boil was good as well.

Last night I hosted my 35th birthday dinner at the Livingston. The staff and food was amazing. Everyone was so accommodating to my large party. From the table arrangements to the seating location to the special menu request my birthday dinner was exactly how I imagined it. Thanks for making it happen.
