By far the best burgers I've had anywhere in Atlanta. Fun staff and atmosphere. I'm laughing at the bad reviews on here. Obviously these people have never worked in a restaurant and have no understanding of what it takes to seat parties on busy weekends. If you want to have a great time and some of the best food you've ever had, the Vortex is the place to go. If you're unable to adjust to the dynamics of large groups of people at peak hours, do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere so not to ruin the vibe for the rest of us.

I went in alone thinking it would be weird to eat by myself. Glad I was wrong. The waitress greeted me as soon as she was done taking orders for another table. She even stayed to explain some menu items to me. I got my wings & fries within 10 minutes and they were great. Excellent customer service/ food. I'll leave a review for drinks as well.

Great burgers. Actually my first time getting to visit (always had the kids in tow previously) and honestly I now see why it's 21 and up. The first thing you're greeted with in the door is a 3 foot tall wooden penis... It was hilarious! The rest of the restaurant is similarly themed.

If you like burgers you’ll like Vortex. They have a wide range of burger options with my favorite being the “Coronary Bypass” with bacon and fried egg. Good service too. Only negative was the smoke (it’s expected since its a bar but we were coming for the burgers) - they did have a section to the side that was non-smoking and we did ok there (but my wife who is more sensitive to it could still smell it some). Overall a great place we’d come back to.

Best bar in midtown. Great staff. Food is amazing they flip tables super fast. Love the atmosphere. And the comedy club attached is one of the top in the city!
