Definitely have mixed feelings about this campground. I really like the campground itself. Most of the sites seem pretty spacious. We stayed at site #80 and there was a good distance between us and the sites surrounding ours. Not far from the water at all. It was only my first trip to Logger but wow... this place is like a giant dog park. I can honestly say this was the first time I've been camping and woken up several times by dogs barking. Besides one other family across from us, every one of the sites in our general area (probably 10-12) ALL had dogs. Many were unsupervised roaming through our site. Several times people tied their dogs to a tree while they went down to the lake and they barked nonstop. I absolutely love dogs. And I really don't mind seeing them in nature. But it was quite chaotic and not exactly my idea of relaxation. I'll give it another shot sometime because I'd really like to fish, which I didn't get to this time. But I strongly hope for a better experience. If you're someone who enjoys your campground "quiet time" I definitely don't recommend this place if it's commonly like that. Oh... and don't stay at any of the sites closest to the bathrooms. The smell is horrid.

The lake is amazing as always....Not what it used to be...What was one of the best fishing lakes in California has now become a front row stage for " How cool do i look in my big truck....SEE MY COOL BOAT TO..!!!!"....Campground host charged me double for the double site after telling me $23 And I was good to go...After we had set up camp....Curfew is 10pm....or at least that's what the rules said....at 2am in the morning the same people were still screaming and yelling....WE COULDN'T WAIT TO LEAVE IN THE MORNING....AND THEY DO NOT OFFER MILITARY DISCOUNT...FIRST TIME LAST TIME

Reservoir is filled up with water again! Stayed at the site 199 this summer: very spacious with partial shades. You can get to the shore, bathroom, running water, and dump station within a few min walk. No shower. Bathroom was kept clean throughout three days stay. (Bring your own toilet paper in case they run out) You get to see bambi few feet away with a pretty good chance, but keep food in the container. They bit through my bags to get my bread and chips!

Nice campground on the lake. Beautiful scenery, lots of deer. Clean restrooms inside, just stinks on outside.

I camp here almost every year. This year was great, due to our very wet winter. The camp hosts are usually very nice. They keep the bathrooms clean, which is always appreciated.
