The fallen leaf campground was the best place to be for us when we visited Lake Tahoe! Very nice park rangers, clean toilets and a warm shower (1$). The camp sides were very big and good managed. You had enough place to be by your own but you could also get in contact with your neighbors. With 34$ dollars a night it is an expensive campground but for us the very beautiful wood nature where the campground is build, the pretty well managed sides and the near to Lake Tahoe (and don't forget the fallen leaf lake which is directly at the north side of the camp) it was the best campground we stayed on our California road trip!! We would recommend it to everyone!

It is a great place to hike there was still snow on the ground on many of the trails but I could find enough dry ground to walk in just sneakers

Beautiful scenery! Great camping experience! We go every year and love it still. It's one of my families favorite places to visit!

Great Campground! Well organized, friendly, quiet and big! 5 minute walk from Fallen Leaf lake. Highly recommended!
