If you're still interested in VYNIL, this is a must do spot. This may be one of, if not THE LAST good old fashioned RECORD STORE in New Orleans. The place could almost pass for being a museum. My wife bought about a dozen records when we were in NOLA in October. Great and very knowledgeable staff and you will find some great, classic music if you've got a couple hours to spend looking through crates upon crates of wax, reminiscing about afternoons at the record store when you were growing up.

This is a record store that carries a lot of new records but if you search hard, you will find what you were looking for at least jonra wise. I found an older copy of the cures disintegration album at that I had been looking for for a long time and I got it for a fair price unlike the internet. The service is very friendly and helpful. A bit off the beaten path.
