My husband and I went in recently to look at appliances and take advantage of their Black Friday deals. We went in one day and were helped by very friendly people, however, they informed us that the appliance staff was not there that day. The 3 people that helped us were from different departments and were unable to answer all of the questions we had. We didn’t mind coming back the next day since we had to measure the space for the washer dryer we wanted to get. The next day there wasn’t anyone in the appliance department. We walked around for 20 minuets and then finally found someone who was helping someone else who arrived after we had. We waited for her to become available for another 10 minuets and then decided waiting 30 minuets was long enough. We went back one more time to find the appliance person busy again. We decided to walk over to Home Depot and ended up purchasing our washer/dryer and fridge from them since the man there was knowledgeable and available to help us. We aren’t upset, we just want management to be aware so that they can make the changes necessary so that other people don’t have to waste their time like we did.

Pickup process is a complete joke. I got a phone call from them saying my online order was ready to pick up in the store. I went to the store to pick it up. The store was not busy at all. I walked up to the sign that says "pickup" and was told to go to the other side of the counter to a different employee. That employee told me to go back to where i started. I was passed off four times to four different employees before anyone started helping me. Apparently my item was staged in a different part of the store according to the notes on my order. 10 minutes later they discovered it was in the pickup area all along. If I'm the first ever online order picked up at this store then i apologize for being harsh. Otherwise this was a compete fail.

Lowes generally has everything I need for my home improvement needs. Add this to their wonderful veterans discount and I'll be a lifelong customer. Thanks Lowes.

We went thru Lowes to get new windows for our home. They came out for an estimate and again to measure. When the windows were delivered, the installers pointed out that the windows were not the same color as the other windows in the new addition. Thus, they were ordered wrong and the installers packed up and left. Meanwhile, we had taken the day off and moved all of the furniture out of the way in two bedrooms and an office and had our alarm system disabled. They called us several weeks later and again, came out to install the new windows. This time, the installer pointed out that the windows were not ordered correctly again and showed us what the issues were. Either there would be an approx 2" gap from the window frame to the jam or they could butt them up to the inside jam and leave the 2" gap on the outside and then just cover it up with new trim. We called Lowes while the installer was there but our sales- rep would not speak with us about the problem. Thus, we called back to talk to the main manager of the store and I was told to go somewhere else. My husband ended up going over the Louisville store in person and they agreed to send someone back out to re-measure and they would order jam extensions to fix the problem. Several more weeks went by and they said they had everything and the installers again came out - we again moved all of the furniture and had the alarm system disarmed. This time, the installers couldn't get the jam extensions to fit properly. They went ahead and replaced three windows but said they had to come back and do something different to make them work. They came back a few days later and finished putting in two more windows and they were very unhappy with the way the jam extensions were working. So, we called Lowes and had Joe come out and look at the installation and he agreed that the jam extensions did not work and promised that he was going to order new windows that were sized properly and fix the problem. The next day, Mario called to give us our options - I was dumbfounded - the only option that we should have been given was the correct windows that should have been ordered from the beginning. Keep in mind, Lowes has already charged our account for the new windows when they ordered them which I believe was in August. It's now December 27th and they are still not installed properly as per Lowes installers and Joe the store manager. As of today, Lowes will not speak to us about the problem and told us to have an attorney call corporate and talk to them. All we asked was to have it done right and apparently that's not how Lowes operates. It seems like they are happy to take your money but, when you have an issue, you're on your own. Very disappointed in Lowes!
