I bought a Troybilt backpack leaf blower with 2 yr replacement warranty then just took out of box this weekend since the cold weather. It would not run called the number on the side pleasantly surprised when someone answered phone on Sunday. I let the technician hear what it was doing he told me since it was just out of the box to drain the gas and return to store. I had receipt and warranty and took to the store last night. The girl was very rude told me it was 4 days after the 30 day Mark, that I had the replacement warranty and that I would have to call the number on the receipt. When I asked her about getting serviced she said that I don’t have the service warranty and that I had replacement they would send me a card in 5 to 7 days. I explained this is not how they usually do this and she said let me highlight the number and I will star it for you too. Like you were stupid or something. I called the number after 45 minutes I was told to take it back to the store. I explained to the rep that I was just there what the girl said and if I go back and the same thing happened I would be livid. She got the manager on the phone and I took it back again. The same girl at register and as soon as I walked in she to another employee she would have to catch a charge and they would have to bail her out. I asked for the manager by name and she called him. He told her what to do and she argued with him. I got the replacement finally. She has no respect for customers and does not need to work at that desk.

The staff on the floor are knowledgeable and friendly; but I have been quite dissapointed with the cashiers during checkout. Most of the cashiers don't even look up at the customer or even attempt to be courteous. The computer prompts them to thank a veteran for their service. Today the cashier didn't even look at my husband and mumbled thank you for your service. The cashier is the last point of contact in the store, and will greatly influence what type of shopping experience a customer had.

Staff was unwelcoming and not proactive in helping customers find the supplies needed. A kiosk would be more helpful and efficient. I left the store to go to another one in the area. I was greeted at the door by an associate that did not have knowledge of the product I needed but quickly sent over another associate to further assist me.

Last year I needed help with flooring and while I was getting help a customer pushed "the red button" and the worker left us to go help someone else. We wait an excessive amount of time for him to come back so we finally left. That happen twice with flooring. Tonight we went in to get help with some lumber and a customer pushed " the red button" and again the worker literally ran off to help the other customers in the middle of us asking him questions. So then we were being helped by a trainee which didn't have the answers to our questions. He told us that we would have to wait on the guy that was helping us originally bc he had two customers he was helping. So basically if you don't push " the red button" you automatically go to the bottom of the help list. The trainne told us that when the red button is pushed it has to be answered so the customers don't get mad and I told him to late. Bad customer service. We ended up leaving and didn't buy anything.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They have what we need. Love Lowes!!
