I used to love this store but the service has gone down Hill in the last two years or so. I went there today to purchase an entire bathroom for a rehab. I wanted a tub, shower door, new toilet, vanity, fixtures and linoleum floor. There was no one to help me and the one employee said they were two busy to answer questions and there was no one to help me. It was suggested I figure things out for myself. I went to the hardware store right down the street. it was better set up, had lots of friendly folks and I was in and out with a in about 30 minutes. It took me that long to find someone to tell me they could not help me at this store. I will no longer visit this store. I would rather drive the 20 minutes to the Columbia store. If I could give zero stars i would.

Fine if you don't need help (or maybe if not brown, see other reviews...) We needed doors and windows replaced. 2 exterior doors, 8 windows. Got 3 quotes, one from Lowes. Lowes was WAY low. Like over $10,000 low. Now we know why. The materials are good, the installation was decent (one window installed way out of level. But the headaches...YOWZA! Once salesman left, we were pretty much on our own. First trip for installation (after LONG delay for doors) we find out the day of install the doors swing the wrong way. Lowes error. Fine, so they install windows (installers are very easy to deal with but they ONLY install, no coordination with ordering or anything store related. Doors go back for replacement. Waiting multiple weeks (at least now we're out of the depths of winter so two big holes in house all day won't cost me a fortune in heating.) Second install day, bad window reinstalled level, doors installed. BUT..... still wrong doors. Now the swing is correct, but the glass is wrong. Back and forth w store and we get decent store credit for the inconvenience. OK, fine. Wife (re-re)orders the doors with the half-glass we picked, vs. full glass installed. WAITING multiple months during which I finally convince her that the wrong doors actually match the existing sliding glass better than the half-lights would have. Trying (today) to cancel the replacement I got put on terminal hold by Catonsville Lowes staff on first call. Shuffled around to 3 people who all seemed to mostly be talking past me to a person next to them, nobody gave their name or gave ANY sign of being the least bit interested in a) finding out what I needed or b)what had happened or c) was going to happen. Then after another LONG hold, they hung up on me. I guess I'll just refuse the delivery and attempted third install. Why do they need to make it so hard for me to do the right thing?

Found two excellent employees who helped. Cancelled purchase because waited 30 minutes to 45 minutes to get a lawn furniture. Sad

The girl working at customer service was rude and she even curse me because she thought I would not understand because of English. Her coworkers heard her and they supported her and they all turned against me til the manager came and told her to return my item. I purchased some 400 pieces of bricks on sale, I picked up 200 and said I will come back later. The lady at check out was like it is cool just give them your phone number that is all. I was like are you sure don’t I need a special receipt or confirmation number. She was like no we do this all the time. So I left when I came back to do so. She acted like I am lying and said they have to check the camera and everything I was like okay. Let is do that. Then she throw the receipt at me and said wait till the manager comes. Then she look at the coworker said look at this clown. I return and said what did you say to me? She was like nothing. But the coworker and her were giggling.

Perfect place if you need help with anything. I mean anything. These people are good. As good as it gets. Staff is friendly, they helped me out with everything, every single problem. Sometimes i come here just to c the staff and learn things. I recommend this place to everyone
