I go back and forth between Lowe's and Home Depot all the time for several reasons: 1. The majority of Lowe's employees I have encountered do not have the appropriate or same level of experience as Home Depot employees. 2. Lowe's appliances, that are on sale, are typically lower than HD. 3. I prefer the flooring products sold by Lowe's. 4. I prefer the tools sold at Home Depot. Customer service is lacking in most areas, the functional sections of the store in particular. Knowledge of the associates working in those sections is pretty poor. So much so I had a simple question, knowing the answer, concerning patching concrete. I was told I needed to purchase a huge bag of some concrete base, or just a bag of concrete. When in fact (1) section over you sell a small pint bucket of concrete patching for MUCH cheaper. I will still come to Lowe's, but only for some products they sell. If you need advice on home improvements go to Home Depot or use Google.

We are in the middle of remodeling our home here in AZ. We have spent thousands of dollars with lowes, after our last purchases we decided to return a few items because we didn't like crome on our fixtures. Looking at the receipt we found that we were charged $1400.00 for items we didn't receive. We don't normally check the receipt because we assume and trust the system of checking out. I really don't know how items could show up on our receipt with out being scaned. We now spend hours out in the parking lot trying to check off items on the receipt before we load them in the vehicle. If lowes is reading this review please simplify your your receipts so we can understand it.

I like the store dont count me wrong it has all kinds of good stuff on sale and what not but one thing it bothered me soo much was the customer service... The Employees are very rude might as well not ask for their help, because they will make a face and point to you a direction of where the product is at. Ill go to Home Depot instead.

Bought a refrigerator yesterday. They advertise free delivery within 24 hours. I requested it to be delivered Sunday after 3. Went in at 2 to check on delivery and was told they quit at noon on Sunday so it won't be delivered till Monday. Very poor customer service. They apparently will promise anything to get your money even though they know they can't fulfill.
