Lower Lights Community Church of the Nazarene has served the Franklinon community for nearly a century. The church began as a "storefront" fellowship, and despite the hardships the Great Depression, World War II, and "suburban flight", the church remained.
Today, LLCCON exsts as a strong local congregation. Under the leadership of Rev. Mike Vallangeon, Lower Lights Community Church of the Nazarene stands as a beacon of hope and redemption in the Franklinton neighborhood.
