I give this church two stars because the congregation was perhaps the most lovely, outgoing, and friendly congregation I have ever experienced. Truly, this is a church full of talent that needs to strip it back down to the basics. I am a 26 year old OSU employee and student looking for a new church in the area and was very disappointed. When I attended, the music/praise band was so flashy, distracting, and loud that I couldn't even tell if I was singing. It was very "look at me (not Him)!" The pastor spoke like he was reading "spoken word" poetry the ENTIRE service and it came across as totally insincere. He seemed to try to play on emotion instead of delving into and teaching biblical facts. During his "message," he spoke a lot of words but didn't say anything at all. His "message" consisted of no message at all. Has this pastor been to seminary school? Just when he would quote a great verse that could be wonderfully elaborated on, he would make some incoherent or obscure connection to emotion and go off on some random tangent. I hope this congregation gets what it needs, but I definitely didn't. I have never enjoyed a church service less. Give me some real Bible preaching please.

Rock City by far is God’s work it’s Relevant impactful spiritual and uplifting. Pastor Chad and all the staff are not just friendly but relatable and Pastor Chad has been given a gift from God he delivers his message and you can tell each week it’s from the heart. The music is absolutely Amazing it’s not called Rock City for nothing

If what you are doing isn't working, If you are looking for something upbeat. If you are still on your journey and are just wondering and hoping that there is more to life than this, if you've had a rough time lately and are just searching for hope that's been lost or if you already believe and just want some place to let it out and praise God, please try Rock City Church. IT COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE! We have been attending on a regular basis and it grounds us and brings us back to what is most important. Our love in Christ has grown and God is doing amazing things in our lives and with this church that is one of the fastest growing churches in the US (so obviously they must be doing something right). Be ready for some upbeat songs of praise and messages from pastor Chad and some of the other lead pastors that not only make you a better person but inspire you and lift you up!!! You won't be disappointed. : )

What an amazing church! I only go here when my college aged son asks me to but sometimes wish I attended here. They are top notch!!!
