I am very disappointed with their service. They seemed very nice at first, however when it was time to move out they charged me an unreasonable fee for no reason, docking my security deposit. Each appliance that is not cleaned, you get charged $50. I never used the oven as I rarely cook at home, and somehow they said it was dirty when I left. I even wiped it down just to be safe, returning it to them cleaner than I received it. They also make you do professional carpet cleaning before you leave, which cost me over $200. I have no kids or pets and the carpet was still as good as before, but yet it was part of the contract so I had to do it. Just BEWARE of all the extra fees that make moving out unreasonably expensive.

I rented a townhouse in their Penglyn area and have nothing but great things to say about the company. The townhome itself was clean and well maintained in a quiet setting. I had an issue that required maintenance only once and they were there within an hour to fix the issue. The owner was awesome working with me regarding special circumstances near my move out. They offer month to month after a year for an additional cost, which was perfect when buying a house. Had we not purchased a house we'd still be living there. I had no issues having my security deposit returned to me, and I could have understood had there been a cost or 2 deducted from it. Rent increases were absolutely reasonable - I'd dealt with another management company that would raise the cost by $50/month with each lease renew. After living there years I lived there I think the rent was only $15-$25 more per month than what I started out paying; which I consider fair. I really have no complaints and enjoyed my time living there. I'd recommend them to anyone considering.

LRG Rentals' Clay Pike Townhouses are not worth the rent! This is my attempt to give the 'next guy' an informed review since LRG is not BBB accredited. I hope that someone else with a family does not make the same mistake I did, by renting from this company. There are reasons to which half of the Clay Pike Townhouses are vacant. I should have made the realization from the get go when Tina gave us a per month cost verbally and then attempted to print a different amount in our lease. The parking situation is dangerous, especially when it snows: LRG contracts the cheapest snow removal service who does not show up until late in the evening, at best. The majority of the time, I had to shovel our parking spots myself, while at the same time, attempting not to get hit as cars pass on Clay Pike Road 35+ MPH within two feet of you. Even parking in the garage, trying to get out with a four wheel drive vehicle was difficult without shoveling quite a bit yourself. Don't let Tina tell you that the traffic is only bad during the morning and afternoon traffic hours; that is false. The only time there is not abundant, speeding traffic is 2 a.m. through 4 a.m. To make things worse, the parking lot has two very large and sunken drains, in the middle of the typical path! One exhibits a gaping hole with broken grates to which a child, or your vehicle's tire, may easily fall into. After years, they have yet to repair the parking lot, but instead replaced the outside lights next to each door and above the garage doors. I'd say their priorities are backwards. Also plan on not receiving the majority of your security deposit back as LRG attempts to charge you for every potential penny as everyone is moving out of the Clay Pike Townhouses, to include charges such as "Cleaning Fee" for appliances that were cleaned two separate occasions, however, will not become nicer looking due to the fact the appliances are 20+ years old! We were determined to be present during their final walk through and made ourselves available. They never called and instead did a walk through without even trying to call us and Tina stating that she is "too busy to set up a time". Rent increase year over year... for the same appliances and amenities that were in your leased unit from the original contract! Keep in mind, the only service they cover is trash. Do not lose your key! For the cheap, flimsy doorknobs and deadbolts, LRG will charge over $160 to replace one key as the locksmith supposedly overcharges.
