This place is genuinely Asian, but mostly Chinese. I haven’t had food as authentic as this since I came back from China. The dim sum and sweet buns were fresh and hot. The staff constantly checked up on my table to make sure we were satisfied and happy. Our plates were hot and fresh. It’s a really nice and homey place to eat.

Went to Lucky Bamboo China Bistro with Zoe…my foodie buddy. A couple of “firsts” for me today…Dim Sum and chicken feet. Now I do not have any real experience on what “good” Dim Sum or chicken feet might be…but my taste buds enjoyed what was served here and my belly is happy. While they did not have the Dim Sum that they serve on the weekends, a full tray of various Dim Sum  brought to the table for selection, we just ordered from the appetizer menu. We did some pork, shrimp, sticky rice in lotus leaf, and chicken feet. The buns/dumplings were excellent, a lot of flavor, and I loved the different wraps on the shrimp versus the pork buns. The sticky rice was good, one side was a bit overcooked, but the “inside” was really good. As for the chicken feet…I was IMPRESSED. The sauce they are cooked in is really good and after I understood and figured out how to eat them, the “meat” on the feet was very tasty too. All in all…a really good lunch and the service was extremely friendly and efficient. 

Seems this restaurant has a number of different events, live music, and dancing throughout the month. They also do an “Adventure Dinner” once a month (first Monday) where they serve things NOT on their menu…sounds “adventurous” and kinda exciting.

I will come back here so I can try the full Dim Sum experience along with some of their other offerings.

"Dim sum" was a great experience.  A waitress recommended the Shrimp Balls and they're now my favorite.  We got to try several other dishes as well, which is perfect for me because I love variety and not having to commit to a full entree. However, you could still order off the menu and not the cart they were bringing around.

Great service, delicious fresh food. They will accommodate any dietary need  I have requested. Very helpful and gracious. The owner told me to stir my hot pot often so the lettuce on the bottom would not stick. The Coi fish pond is a beautiful and relaxing addition.

Great food, reasonable price s, and the owners are amazing people. I come here religiously just because of how positive and accommodating they are. It's also been voted best Chinese restaurant for a few years in The Nashville Scene (for good reason). Try the hot pots (dim sum?) on Saturdays. Incredible!
