Open for lunch and dinner, we offer daily lunch specials under $6, homemade soups, gluten-free and whole wheat pasta. Luigi's features a full bar, as well as a children's menu and arcade area to complete your next family dining experience. Luigi's on Manitowoc is wonderful. The service is good, except the waitresses tend to get side tracked with other employees or freeding themselves after they take their payments and it takes a long time to get your credit card back. Other than that I really love going here. It has nice atmosphere with the decor and the strands of led lights all around. Its has a small outdoor seating area with table umbrellas. They have a bar you have drinks at while you wait for your food if you choose. The pizza is fantastic, a cheese lovers dream! All in all I would recommend to everyone.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food this is not the place for you. The owner admitted that everything they have is frozen and from a can, and the taste of their food makes that absolutely obvious. The first indication that this place does not deserve to call itself Italian is the old flat wine, but let's focus on the food. What more can I say about the frozen seafood, frozen raviolis, canned tomatoes, canned sauce, and canned artichokes. In the words of the great chef Ramsey, "do not put something in front of your customers that they could not make themselves at home better," or in this case, from "Chef Mike" (the microwave). If there was ever a need for a restaurant to implore Chef Ramsey's help, this one is it! Unless Kitchen Nightmares invest their time and finances into this restaurant, it is a no go for all of us who prefer fresh food. I was specifically told that my opinion belongs in California, after all, this is simply Wisconsin and they are compromising efficiently for their locale. That was a statement from the owner. After the owner told us that yes the sauce comes from a can, but it still her grandmothers recipe from Sicily, she sent her obviously drunken son who is the chef, out to be incredibly confrontational and threatening toward us. I refused to pay for the horrible food, because he wouldn't; however, I gratuitously tipped the waitresses out of sheer pity, as their service was also lacking. How do I been any more honest with the owner there would have been waterworks, her manipulation was as bad as her food. I do not recommend this place, regardless of where you're from or who you are. On behalf of my colleagues who are also reviewers and connoisseurs; spare yourself the degradation of your pallet and avoid this restaurant at all costs!

Found a chicken thigh bone in my chicken pastina soup. The only thing the waitress had to say about it was, "Oh, I'm sorry. We hand-pick our meat. That shouldn't have happened." She didn't even take it off my bill. No one in the restaurant even seated us that night. Very disappointed. 😝
