Always great service. Every dish I’ve ordered has been full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The ambiance here is great for a private dinner or even a dinner party!

One upon a time there was a lovely restaurant called "Hoppes." Originally a Wells Fargo Station with a deep trough cut into the ground to protect the horses from the wind coming off the Pacific Ocean. A century later, the sides of the trough were planted with flowers which attracted thousands of butterflies. Meals were served to the guests in the garden's private areas, protected by bushes. But life moves on and a new restaurant with a new menu and a very professional chef, Fernando, have brought the gardens back to their former glory. Lunada Garden Bistro is delicious, period. The Wells Fargo station is once again, alive and beautiful. The garden could not be more spectacular. Service is friendly. The servers are knowledgeable. There are conventional proteins, as well as, vegan dishes on the menu. I had the quinoa/portobello mushroom burger with delicious, crisp french fries. My wife ordered the brunch special, buttermilk pancakes that come with a flute of champagne. Wheelchair accessible only from the garden entrance at the rear of the restaurant. Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Street parking.

Great restaurant in Cayucos. Classy feel. California cuisine. Great service. Locally owned and operated. Definitely worth a visit.

Would be betterr if there was more than one vegan option. Being pet friendly is a huge plus though.

Most enjoyable and delicious brunch. Took my pup and boyfriend, since we heard it was dog-friendly and had breakfast burritos. Ended up eating off the lunch menu, ordering the lobster quesadilla and truffle burger. Both were AMAZING. Bloody Mary was also delicious. Recommend dining in the 'Sunken Garden' area. The greenery and flowers surrounding made a truly beautiful and unique dining atmosphere.
