Went in to change my name after getting married. They seemed to have a good system in place and everyone was polite. HOWEVER when I got to the final station after speaking to 2 other people (one of which checked to make sure I had the correct paperwork) and having my photo taken and waiting a total of over an hour (basic DOL stuff), I was told I did not have the correct paperwork, because I needed my certified marriage certificate. On their website it clearly states that EITHER a certified marriage certificate or certified marriage LICENSE would suffice. Not only did I have the certified marriage license I also had my new social security card with my new last name. I ask about this and was told that it was because he needed a specific reference number that is on the certified copy of the marriage certificate..... it is the SAME number that is one the marriage license and even the "keepsake" certificate. Suffice it to say, I am frustrated and will be going back in with a print out of their own website and the same paperwork as before. What a waste of my time..

Go late. Shorter lines, very friendly and helpful staff. Marvel at the sea of humanity that shows up here. LOL

Worst place to come to. A  3 hr wait time anytime you are here.  If you need to come here, get prepared to lose half  of a day . About 100+ people waiting inside. Place looks like an airport and half the people sitting on the floor without even having a chair. Room is occupied way past it's capacity. 2 hour wait . When will all  DMV's all over the states make experience more tolerable.  So many employees operated here at the speed of a sloth.  Great example how not to run a business,  private sector would of made  the world of difference. #taxpayersmoneyatwork

workers  behind counters and 2 people being helped and over 30 people waiting...me for an hour...seriously. They are slow and not very productive.  Lady at the front very nice efficient.
