I just had my 5th vehicle smogged here in the last two years and this shop has been consistently friendly, reliable and fast. I've never had a bad experience here - and the owner really knows his stuff. Highly recommend Lyons for no-nonsense auto repair, service and smog.

Our GMC diesel truck broke down end would not start AAA recomended Lyons repair shop .they were also recommended by the tow company. Story short I would recommend this shop to everyone in that area. The owner was very honest and explained everything to us what could cause the truck not to start. With in about 1/2 hr. they found the problem end fixed within about 1.5. They ck'd everything over and test drove the truck to make sure that what they fixed corrected the problem. I would rate this shop a 6x shop.

Our motorhome broke down in Paso (we live in Santa Barbara). We had it towed to Lyon's Auto and arranged a ride back to SB. We could not have been happier with Geoff and his staff. They went above and beyond, and the work was completed on time and came in less than the estimate provided. From the moment I spoke with him I felt at ease and thoroughly trusted him. I wish I could use him for all of our vehicles.

Came in for a smog. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

We were on our way from Santa Barbara to San Francisco for my bridal shower when my mom's car engine light came on. Renee and Geoff were so incredibly helpful. They spoke with our mechanic in SB to get a run down of the work that had been previously done, and Geoff even personally drove us over to Enterprise rent-a-car. They made a stressful situation a whole lot better, and we really appreciated their customer service.
