I have been in the auto repair business for over 40 years. I have been using body shops in the south bay for all of the 40 years. I did use One Day Paint at this location for years. My painter I use now was too busy to get my customer car done. I decided to try Maaco. I thought something was wrong when I saw the back parking lot empty. When I would go to One Day Paint at this location the lot was always full of work. I thought the estimate for a three stage paint job on my front and rear bumper was high but I was out of time so I had them do the job. They told me it would be 3 days. Three weeks later I was told it was finally done. When I went to check it out the paint was dull and it had dirt in the paint. When I went to the office I was told they do not buff out 2 or 3 stage paint jobs. If I wanted that done it would be more money! I asked to speak to the manager! I told the manager in my 40 years in the car business I never heard of extra charge to buff out paint and that someone should of told me that when I dropped the car off. His reply was I should of read the small print in the 5 page contract they had me sign. What ever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE? Now I know why the lot was empty!! This is like that restaurant you walk in the first time and it is empty. You think it must be the time of day so you try it out and the food makes you sick!!!!!! FIND ANOTHER PAINT SHOP!!!!

The worst experience of my life. The paint job was trash. The actual paint was not the one I requested nor the paint they promised. It was the lowest quality paint possible mixed with dirt. The car wasn't fully painted like how it was supposed to be. But, they did decide to paint all my wheels, my reverse camera, my headlights, part of my engine and so on. The body work was trash. The service was trash. They make misleading promises to make you sign the contract but, they don't follow through. They messed up other body parts of my car that they weren't even supposed to have touched. Honestly, after my experience, anyone else willing to go to Maaco after reading this review make sure to say goodbye to your money because that's the only thing Maaco is actually good for, jacking one's money!!!

Horrible... they definitely a BUSNIESS... a business that's loves money and might try to take advantage of you if your not familiar with paint or motor vehicles.. They want $1200 for my mustang. And this DOESN'T INCLUDE my door hinges.. quality of paint is moderate. Now listen I've been a mechanic for 4 years and built my Ford MUSTANG all STOCK from scratch. I talked to this woman on the phone and thus decided just from our conversation based on her misinformed knowledge.. NOT A GOOD MANAGED COMPANY. They after your money. To paint a car:;; Spray gun, sand paper, some mathematics, and patience... This lady said 3 hours because they only have 2 staff.. and get this.. that's for only the sanding... 😨😨. I preferred waiting for my injured hand to heal and painted my car. Then I went over to MIDAS for the hinges. If you have alot of money and don't care much about the appearance of your car... this is your shop. If your on a budget. Come to me ill help you. Look me up online and feel free to contact me. This shop ain't the best with the quality of paint or the wait, however they do have a warranty so you can always fire back at them... Best read in between the lines. Take care America. 💖
