I went here today about 3p and could of had sandwiches and such in bar area. I chose to wait until 5p and dinner menu. Great choice. Beautiful setting, like a large old house, which I'm guessing this was in days past. Pickled herring at salad bar is a first for me, but a long time favorite passed from my own Mom. Bread rolls near salad area had 3 butter choices. A first for me. I chose the garlic and was wow great but pretty salty. I asked for dessert first, a German chocolate cake. I had a bite but didn't like the texture and overall. Was exchanged for vanilla cheesecake. Very good. My end cut prime rib was pretty good but not tender and tasty. Nice size portion. Baked potato with real butter and bacon was excellent. Service matched as excellent. I do plan a return absolutely.

Stopped as part of a really large group. Beautiful place, cozy, clean, great service. I had the best tomato bisque I've ever had. Nice chicken salad sandwich, real food. Can't wait to come back. It would be great at night, smaller, intamate rooms, great coffee, nice bar. If you have mobility issues it's doable but not convenient. That is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star review.

I have been here a couple times with my family and even on a date night. Food is always great. Staff is fun and friendly. 
Highly recommend!

The food and service was great. I ordered the special. I was never told the cost. I wouldn't have order a special witch was pork tenderloin and mashed potatoes only and the cost was $20.00 and was  run up as a whole rack of ribs. I did ask about the bill and that was what I was told.

Not a bad little place to eat. Two different menus depending on if you sit in the bar or in the dining area. Our food is always hot and fresh, and I highly recommend the waffle fries. A nice change of pace from the fast food places nearby. Easy to get to from interstate as well.
