I thought I would check this park out since I had never been here before. I happen to be on the red line and got off at MacArthur park. It was kind of what I expected it's not the greatest area so taking that into consideration it was okay it's big there's plenty of room to sit , relax, and maybe have a quick lunch, but I wouldn't be here after dark. One thing that I really enjoyed was all the outside vendors in and around the park they had some off-the-wall stuff that I bought that you can't get anywhere but there. --Long Beach resident

The city has really let this place go. It's a shame. Still a beautiful park. Entirely too many discarded needles though.

Noveau Echo park. Old historic LA at its best. A classic. Check out Langers. A pastrami landmark, surpasses Katz NYC by a bunch, difference being....no one knows about it....

It is unbelievable that I found a real treasure in forgotten and forbidden part of town for I bought flavor waters made 100% of real fruit- never before I tried out such a perfect flavor and just like the flavor water story I had other adventures here in Mcarthur Park. I do recommend Mcarthur park to be visited for the stories surrounding the park are either unfounded or they are not 100% accuarate.
