Greatest park for summer play in the Northland! Main play structures are shaded by giant sycamore trees. There’s a great walking track, wheel trail, and exercise equipment. Macken Park is always hosting fun, free events!

Awesome place to run. Always seems clean. The track is 3 legs and exactly 1 mile long. Next to a school so there are usually cops around.  I’m pretty comfortable running here at night.

TONS of activities here. The trail is great for walking and running. If you play Pokemon go you can get out your phone, there's 3 gyms and about 8 stops on a pretty tight loop. There are tennis courts here, you can also play racquetball or "wall ball". Lots of fields and shelters, and occasionally there are soccer goals set up during a warm day. Great place to bring your friends and family for picnica or celebrations. They have events here all the time that are a lot of fun. It's close to the high school which is good for students. This park is a lot of fun, seriously. It's worth a trip out to NKC, especially if it's not too long of a drive for you. Go out and get some sun people :)

Played little league baseball@  Macken- picnics- & when coach in gym class had a bad day, we ran past Macken on the torture run. Good ole Mackenzie #1, under the lights. Great dugouts- the stands- ahhhh.

Large and spacious park, with a variety of activity areas including shelter houses with BBQ's, children's  swings, a mile paved walking trail, large shade trees, several baseball diamonds, tennis and handball courts and on sight restrooms.
