Dropped in for the Labor Day sale to buy some shoes and a suit in the men's section and ended up finding some really exceptional deals. I also had a return to take care of in the makeup section for a return on a gift I purchased for my mom. All in all I dealt with a few customer service reps at various points and they all seemed well trained and helpful. I really do think some of these people with 1 star reviews are a by product of today's instant gratification phenomenon and are being a bit too hard in their reviews. I did dock a star for cleanliness and not enough staff the second could just be a by product of less foot traffic. Nevertheless I feel I've left an honest review.

Lots of good deals to be had here. Nice and clean store and the staff ate pleasant and eager to help. Picked up a new hand bag today and some cover up. Spent only $65 for both which is pretty good.

So confused. Made 3 returns in 3 different departments by 3 different clerks. All had different answers to very same scenario. First one, got cash back. Second one, credit to my debit card. Third one, cash. All paid with my husband's debit card. ugh.

I filled out an application online. I went into an interview for seasonal help. I was interviewed by someone that was maybe 20. I felt disrespected and this girl read from a script. I have an abundance of retail experience and way more than the girl that interviewed me did. I just got an email saying my availability was not enough. That was their excuse as I filled the application out online with my availability to work. The only days I preferred not to work was Tues and Wed as I am a facialist and I run my own business. I am 61. I shop Macy’s all the time. I was looking forward to helping women with their purchases. I was discriminated against because of my age. They wasted my time and they have just lost a customer and I will definitely spread the word that they do not like someone that actually knows something and could actually help women that need help. The reason why I shop online is I can not find someone that is mature. Disgusted!

Today the line at the “At Your Service” deal was very long and slow. For a long time there was only one person. They make a big deal about picking up in store but they don’t have enough people working. But my main complaint is that the music is LOUD and REALLY obnoxious! Every annoying holiday song!
