Four level bar with a cool open roof deck and great live music. It lost a star because the dance floor is really small and right where people come in so there really isn't a chance for much dancing. Casual place. Lots of taxidermy as decor.

INCREDIBLE PLACE. If you've never been here, it's way worth the try. Some of the best soul food with good live music to boot! Hope it's okay to say this, but the mixed drinks will put you out in 1 to 2 drinks haha, but in a good way. I had an extremely fun time here with my girlfriend and will visit again definitely recommend it!!!

This should be on your D.C. Bucket list. The atmosphere in here is laid back and friendly. The food is amazing! And the prices are very reasonable. We ordered two  entrées, an appetizer sampler platter, dessert, three beers, and a cocktail, and still got out for around $100 including tip! More food than we could eat and we stuffed our selves! Bianca was our server and she was outstanding!!! We would highly recommend this place for your next night out.

Great atmosphere, dark, eclectic, run down but in a great way.  Stick to beer... Mixed drinks were rough and not worth the $$.  Staff was great from bouncer to server.  A must see in Adams Morgan.

Ok so the food is excellent for a bar setting... My Wife,  My Mother, and I all split the Friday Night (what I call Blue Plate Special). Normally $18 on Fridays $13 Fried Seafood Dinner and A Bowl of Soup Dejour  (Seafood Soup). OMG.... Exceptional!!! The coleslaw is by far my favorite thing (to the point of where I ordered a side of it AFTER we finished our meal)! Not only that,  the Tiny Little Blonde Cocktail Server was able to stay on top our table.... and she was the only one for a total of 7 tables. Good job Ms. Lady!

2 reasons why it only got 4 Stars.  It didn't bother me that much when I was younger but in my late 30's now, crowds and loud music isn't something I look for on a regular basis (Although excellent live jazz was being played). I will let you know that I also came after 11pm on a Friday night, so this may be a different story earlier or during the week.  The second and main thing is that only 2 wines are offered. A red and a Chardonnay  (I guess it was drinkable but not enjoyable). I really wish there were more wine choices! Darn.... this Coleslaw is excellent!!!
