My husband and I were so excited to try this place because of its awesome reviews- but we were very disappointed with the professionalism of the staff! We went in and stood at the front, we were unclear if we were supposed to wait to be seated or not. After standing there for awhile my husband asked the bartender if we were supposed to seat ourselves. He was very rude and did not even make eye contact and just said "yeah seat yourself." So we did. Then the server (at least I think he was the server I am not sure) walked by and my husband stopped him and asked if we were supposed to order from him or go to the bar. he replied "go to the bar if you don't mind" we asked if the same applied for food too and he said 'yeah sure." He also informed us that the menus that we had were not the menus that they would be using for bingo which would start in 2 hours but that we were okay to use those for now. 

we were unclear on where to order at this point and already baffled by how crappy the service was (especially considering the reviews we'd read). We sat with our menus trying to decide what to eat. Then some woman came by and told us those menus were not the right ones. She took them right out of our hands and said she would be back with the correct menus. Then she  left and came back into the room but instead of bringing us menus sat down at a table with a bunch of other people (looked like maybe for a meeting). 

So here my husband and I are sitting with no menus, not sure where to order (or what we would order) and confused by how we managed to be treated poorly by all three staff members were encountered. 

So we got up and left- and went somewhere where the staff was actually interested in helping their customers.

Absolutely loved it here! Friendly staff, nice area outside, just wish we could bring our furry friends inside the picnic area. Maybe one day? Awesome beers! We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thanks for being so great!

Great beer selection, cool atmosphere. We had great service from several waiters. Food was delicious and different.. the waffle-ice cream sandwich was a perfect ending!

Great little spot in downtown Castle Rock!  It's my favorite place to meet up with friends and grab beers & snacks. The staff is always super friendly and they're quick to give suggestions!  We always find a way to stop here whenever we're in town

Great selection of Colorado craft beers. The food was surprisingly excellent as well. Good place for those with children as well. I plan on visiting here every time I'm in Castle Rock.
