Horrible Service!!1 Cute bar but the staff is extremely rude and act like you are putting them out to serve you. The young bar tender was so into herself and worried about her phone and her looks in the mirror that she was super curt to us when we asked for a drink like she didn't have time to pour it. Staff seems good to their frequent clients, but acts totally annoyed when people, other than their regulars show up. We visit about once a month or so and this has been the feeling every time. We will be choosing some of the new bars in town instead of this stuck up bar where the bartenders think they are God.

Great live music the night I went, the rock and roll style band was amazjng! Older crowd but it was mellow and a fun time!

It is SO sad, how a recent awesome institution in a great little Main Street bar has become, awful. Just awful. The staff should absolutely be ashamed of how poorly they tend bar. Their cell phones and personal conversations take precedence over literally anything that would be considered standard levels of customer service. Pathetic attention to what they exist to do in this role. This bar at one time was incredibly awesome. It’s now a sad footnote to how customers take a second or even third seat to horrible customer service, behind personal cell service phones and personal coversations. They have no understanding of why they have a job here. Atrocious service. They do not deserve your business. Bye bye Next Door. Greener pastures...

Went for advertised happy hour but was told that Tues that you flip a coin for a free drink which I of course lost.Won't go back again although food and service was good

Busy downtown due to Oktoberfest, and the place was certainly busy.  Service was pretty unorganized, as we were there 15 min before the first wait staff came to us.  We weren't in a corner or off to a side... Just in a booth.  We then got drinks in another 5 min, and then crickets.  She was off talking to what looked like regulars, and almost 15 min later one of the guys came by and asked if we needed help.  We said we'd love to order food, and he said he'd send someone over.  ANOTHER 10 min goes by, and I finally went to the bar to order.  The older gentleman with the awesome mustache got the order almost immediately, we had silverware from another nice lady, and food within 5 min.  Food was pretty good, and service from there on was quite normal, but the first lady that brought us our beers and then really blew us off passed by us probably 6 more times and never said a word.  Not sure what we did?  Except not be someone she knew?
