My wife loves Madewell clothes so I am forced to go to this store from time to time.  Each time I enter the store there is a particular older blonde saleswoman who treats me like the humble serf that I am.  She is kind enough to let me know that I am a piece of garbage who is unworthy of her time or attention.  The rest of the staff is fine. I am  about to go there now to buy a sweater for my wife and I am dreading my inevitable interactions with this horrible woman.

Staff is generally awesome, items tend to go on sale pretty quick, high quality items, but fit is unpredictable.

I love madewell but this store is the worst so far. I bought several clothes just now and ordered some online while I was in store. The cashier(Lisa) was rude and very impatient. Because my order was kind of complicated, I inserted my card several times. At one time, I was not sure whether I should insert and I asked, the cashier just said "yes, you need to pay". Of course I know I need to pay. Usually staff in madewell are very nice and friendly, but she's very unfriendly. Also, I am a madewell icon and I have free expedite shipping on all orders, but she insist that I don't have expedite on this promo, which is not true. Maybe she's rude because I am not American, or I am just a student. Anyway, I will never go to this madewell and I definitely don't recommend it to my friends.
