Maenam is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The decor is elegant and friendly, and the staff are efficient, attentive, and knowledgeable. We ordered the Chef's Menu for our 9:30 PM reservation, and really appreciated that a staff member called us to see if we wanted the Chef's Menu since the latest you can order it is 9:30 PM! Every dish was wonderful - beautifully presented, flavorful, and fresh. The mussels were all perfectly steamed, and the ling cod was so crispy and tasty, and one of my favorite parts of the meal was the broth in the hot and sour soup! The mango ice cream was the perfect end to the meal, and a perfect portion. We had a wonderful meal and a wonderful evening, and will certainly be back.

Really enjoyed the food and service there. Very unique flavours, beautiful presentation and nice cocktails. Makes it more of a fancy dining without any snob expectations. Must say add that this place is more convenient for a couple or a very small group as it is not very big and the line-up could be long

Good service, and that's all. 8 people came here because of a friend's recommendation - well, I have to say we cannot trust this friend anymore. Over 7 people, you must try the Chef Menu, $50/person, we were not informed when reservation was made. Fine. From starter to main course, no one, I mean none of us liked any dishes. Either overly sour or sweet, I really don't understand all these five stars reviews here. Are our taste buds that different from most people here? I don't even remember what we had here after going back home. Thai food? Really? No single dish can represent Thai food. I don't know how many people here actually have been to Thailand and tried the Thai food there, but this restaurant definitely is not Thai food. Anyway, I don't usually leave review but my wife laughed so hard when seeing these good reviews, so I had to step in and warn some folks. Overall, average ambiance, good service, but not so good food, at least not good value for the big buck you pay.

Top quality restaurant, well deserving of its spot in the best restaurants in Canada. Thai food like no other, the chefs menu is excellently priced and will leave you full as ever. The service is impeccable and the cocktails are 10/10. My only draw back is that they do no have beer on tap, the cans and bottles they do carry however are well sourced.

Disappointed! Came here on dine out night and we were really looking forward to it. We were seated quickly and ordered our food. The appetizer came quickly and was fresh and tasty and then we were forgotten.... We waited 35 minutes for our next course watching all the tables seated after us get their food while we sat there. Finally, we flagged someone down and were told that our food "somehow" did not get punched in and they would try to rush our order. It wasn't even that busy. It was dissappointing that the manager didn't really try any make up for it with complementary drinks or a discount because it pretty much ruined our evening and they just seemed embarrassed and awkward that they screwed up when they could have made it up to us but instead they just left us with a taste of bad service in our mouths. Food was decent but could not get over the poor service. Will not return
