I had my wedding at Brix & Mortar and could not have been happier with the venue and service I received! Our coordinator, Kimberly, took care of almost anything - so much so that we basically showed up and got the show on the road the day of after a brief meeting a couple days before, and correspondence from Australia! The venue is absolutely stunning, rustic and private and leafy in the heart of downtown Vancouver, and the courtyard was the perfect ceremony location. The staff were fantastic - everything went off like clockwork, with not a single hitch. The bartender was stellar and remembered everyone's orders all night long - and of course, the food! My guests absolutely raved about how good it was, with many saying it was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. Incredible venue, service, and food. hank you Brix & Mortar for giving me a perfect wedding!

Food and ingredients are amazing. I love how they pickle their own peaches in house. The ambiance in the courtyard is worth the trip here. It is so romantic. Service has gone downhill in the past couple years though. Minus 1 star.

Great atmosphere. Pricey drinks, but then, they use premium liquors so justified I guess. The drinks were definitely high quality and very creative and unique. The bartender was very friendly but in a professional way. He definitely knew his stuff.

The food and wine was good. Our waitress was great but we were totally harassed by the random servers. My plate was cleared while I still had food in my mouth. I had to ask three random servers not to remove the cheese plate before I was done. Thus flyby service totally ruined our evening. If I wanted fast food I would go to McDonald's.

Doesn't surprise me it's empty as I sit here. Mediocre service. Tries to be a cute setting. If you like uneven floors, over priced food, and average cooking this is the place for you. Never had potatoes SO GREASY before. They're greasier than McDonald's fries on a bad day. Bread is covered in a mountain of salt. Only bonus was the drink was mixed well, but for the price it was not at all worth it.
