I knew this place had to be good when my friend and I (who had relocated to Lexington, whom I was visiting) tried to stop there for breakfast and coffee one Sunday morning, and the line was to the door- no exaggeration.  We decided to just come back in the afternoon instead- a better place since there wasn't much of a wait then.  I ordered just an everything bagel with guacamole- a nice treat.  I asked the lady at  the counter what the Ale 8 was, and she explained it to me- then offered to just give me one to try!  On the house!  It was such a sweet gesture and  I have to say- it was delicious.  Next time I am in Kentucky I will try that again, and definitely stop by this bakery again too.

I was quite excited to eat here, and it was about noon when we got there (on a game day). There were hardly any pastries left, and the ones left weren't all too fresh. The menu prices I saw through Google Maps said an omelette was $6.50. They were $11.00 at the restaurant. At the counter we were not informed on how to get the drinks we had just payed for. The wait wasn't long for our food, but they only brought 1 order, and just forgot about the rest. We waited about 5 minutes thinking they were getting fresh pastries for us. Nope, they had forgotten. We then got cold pastries we had to warm up ourselves. When I went to the bathroom the bathroom was quite dirty. Most of the electrical sockets had no cover and we're exposed. 
I couldn't give the bakery just 1 star because the cheese danish I had was pretty good...It wasn't the best I've had, but it was quite tasty.

Best donuts and pastries ever! Also had chicken croissant which was excellent.  Staff very friendly and helpful. Will return (when driving through from Ohio) as many times as possible!

Favorite baked goods, especially donuts, so much so that I just drove from Georgetown to get some. There were none ..not one.. at 10:30am.. but the bakery is still open? Five stars for quality that will always have my support, but the only sprinkles I found this morning we’re those of four letter words sprinkled all over my drive back home.

Breakfast was amazing. I chose Buck and my husband and I shared it. I had some hazlenut coffee that was mouth watering! So sad that they are done making iced cookies for tbe year. That's why we went ti get the best sugar cookie in the land. Maybe next year.
